Co-founder and Managing Director of Citywest Concrete Pumping, Andrea grew up around concrete pumps and has extensive experience in all facets of the concrete pumping industry. With over 30 years’ experience, Andrea has used his extensive knowledge to develop Citywest Concrete Pumping into a leading services provider. Andrea operates his fleet from a hands-on position. He sees and hears client’s requirements firsthand and knows how to respond with equipment that makes for the complete concrete pumping service. “It’s a very competitive industry” Andrea explains “you need to cater for customer specific needs no matter the situation”

Co-founder of Citywest Concrete Pumping, Leo brings to the team over 30 years of hands-on industry experience. A qualified mechanical technician by trade, Leo has progressed his career from a senior pump operator, to field service technician and now heads the Asset Management and Maintenance Division of the business, working very closely with manufacturing agents in ensuring plant & equipment is maintained at the highest standard. Leo’s strong emphasis on presentation and leading by example approach to business ensures Citywest sustains their industry leading equipment.

Nick oversees the day to day running of the branch and is responsible for all facets of the operation. With a Bachelor of Business Degree in Operations Management and Human Resources Management combined with tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Safety and Training, Nick compliments the Citywest team with his strong background in developing and implementing business systems. Prior to joining the Citywest team in 2015, Nick held a variety of senior positions in the crane and heavy transport industries.

Our ‘Key Cog’ that keeps the paperwork in order! Kristy brings a wealth of experience to Citywest in all aspects of accounts managements and has played an instrumental role in navigating the business through new Accounting and Financial Software Programs. Kristy is also very passionate about pumping! She loves the variety of machines we have and always promotes a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable change.

Matthew joined the Citywest team back in 2012 and has worked his way up from Pump Offsider, to Pump Operator, then to Senior Pumper Operator and now to Leading Hand where he plays an active role in training new staff at our company. Matthew is a hardworking employee that can always be relied upon to get the job done safely and correctly. He works through construction challenges diligently, always consulting with key stakeholders throughout the process to achieve a feasible solution.

Rhys is our people person with his bright smile and positive outlook in dealing with everyday concrete and construction challenges. Showing maturity beyond his years, Rhys represent the Citywest business with the utmost respect. His concreting experience combined with his strong communication skills and high level of mechanical aptitude makes him a valued and appreciated asset within our business. Rhys is also an experienced Pump Operator who can operate every piece of equipment in our business.

Salvatore is the latest addition to our team and offers a different perspective to our day-to-day business operations having previously worked on a wide variety of large and complex infrastructure and commercial projects with concrete suppliers Holcim and BGC. Salvatore is always willing to go above and beyond to assist our customers which is a value that is highly regarded at Citywest. Salvatore holds a Masters Degree in Project Management and Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.

What started out as an intern opportunity has resulted in a permanent position for Gemma. An energetic and enthusiastic member of our team, Gemma’s versatile skills set and vast knowledge of IT applications has been pivotal in accelerating Citywest to a paperless scheduling and digital docket system. Considered our ‘All Arounder’ Gemma is an active participant in the various Business Improvement Projects currently being undertaken at Citywest.
