Metronet Yanchep Rail Extension / Cockburn Thornlie Link

Client: Newest Alliance

The Yanchep Rail Extension (YRE) compromised of a 14.5-kilometre Joondalup Line extension to Yanchep with three new stations built at Alkimos, Eglinton and Yanchep.

The Thornlie to Cockburn Link (TCL) compromised 14.5 kilometre rail extension to connect Thornlie and Cockburn Central stations.

Citywest has been on this project for over 5 years and still going!

Karel Avenue Upgrade Project

Client: Georgiou

Another congestion-busting project aimed at improving safety along a route travelled by almost 20,000 motorists daily.

Citywest were tasked with shotcrete works of the Project’s north abutment walls inclusive of spray, cut and finish application to Main Roads WA standard. The finish on these walls are truly impressive.

Flat Rocks Stage 1 Wind Farm

Client: Westforce Construction / Enel Green Power

Located in the Great Southern region of beautiful WA, project included the construction of 18 WTG foundations, 15km of internal road network, Substation, Operations and Maintenance Buildings. It also featured the tallest turbines in the state with Vestas V150-4.2MW WTGs installed at a tip height of 200 metres with an overall operation capacity of 76MW.

Point Perron Wastewater Transition Tower

Client: SRG Global / Water Corporation

This project entailed the construction of a new treated wastewater transition tower and follows the recent duplication of a major section of the treated wastewater pipeline, known as the Sepia Depression Ocean Outlet Landline (SDOOL), which facilitates the transfer of wastewater from Woodman Point, East Rockingham, and other treatment plants across Western Australia.

A real exciting project that Citywest has been proud to be a part of.

Stephenson Avenue Extension

Client: RC Construction / S2M

Providing a new connection from Cedric Street to Scarborough Beach Road, including an interchange at Mitchell Freeway with a southbound Smart Freeway on-ramp, as well as new local road links to Ellen Stirling Boulevard.

Citywest has been tasked with providing various sized concrete pumps to execute both phases of the project inclusive and day shift and nightshift.

Tonkin Gap Project

Client: TNE Civil / Tonkin Gap Alliance

Aimed at addressing the current bottleneck where the highway reduces from three lanes to two lanes in Bayswater and Redcliffe, the project consisted of upgrading the highway with additional lanes, new interchanges, bridges and a shared path between Collier Road and Dunreath Drive.

Citywest offers various concrete pumping equipment for all jobs types and this project definitely used them!

Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge

Client: Causeway Link Alliance

Taking place downstream of the heritage-listed Causeway Bridge, the bridges will provide improved access across the Swan River for those riding, walking, or wheeling. The cable-stayed bridges will provide a six-metre-wide shared path, creating a safer connection for people walking and riding from the Perth CBD to Victoria Park.

This project has regularly featured Citywest’s 57m boom to reach the various concrete pylons associated with bridge construction.

WACA Ground Improvement Project

Client: Whitehouse Constructions / ADCO

The redevelopment consists of a new pavilion at the northern end of the ground, a community resort-style six-lane 50-metre pool on the outer rim of the field, a 25-metre indoor learn to swim pool, tiered seating and shaded open grass spaces.

While the project has presented certain construction challenges, Citywest’s ‘can do safely’ approach to service delivery has shown through to this valued client on a marquee project for Perth.

Parliament Place Offices Project

Client: Australian Construction Constructions / ADCO

Adjacent to WA’s Parliament House in the prominent West Perth location on Harvest Terrace, the project involves the construction of a four-storey office building with two basement levels which will accommodate parliamentary offices for the WA State Government.

This project was ideally suited for our 56m Putzmeister mobile boom pump and heavily utilised for the project.

Fitzroy Bridge

Client: Georgiou / BMD Group

Located in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region, this scope of works involved construction of a new bridge following the Fitzroy River Bridge’s collapse as a result of flooding earlier this year from Cyclone Ellie.

Citywest provided both long term and short term pump hire capabilities to facilitate various concrete pours at different phases of the project.
